This company is seeking an Entry-Level ProductAnalyst who will be responsible for performing both strategic and tactical activities for the product portfolios under the direction of Product Managers in order to maximize sales revenues, market share and profit margins.



Entry-Level ProductAnalyst Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales, cost and channel data to provide recommendations to drive product adoption, cost-outs, pricing and product development to maintain health of product line and profitability and drive top line revenue
  • Act as a liaison between engineering, sourcing and operations and various field functions in product line sustaining activities
  • Enter product information (costs, pricing, technical details) into all relevant electronic systems
  • Support customer requests for product-related queries
  • Travel will be based on business needs; up to 10% of the time
  • Support Product Portfolio: margin analysis, product mix reporting, end-of-life support and provide recommendations to the senior leadership team
  • Carry out analysis on sales volumes, cost and price to make recommendations to enhance product margin
  • Assist Product Management team to develop the product line roadmap
  • Commission and use voice of customer and dealer research to inform new product development
  • Work with Engineering, Finance and Marketing to develop business cases and product requirement documents for all new product development projects
  • Assist with national and global product launches and commercialization as necessary
  • Manage the creation of products through the ERP system following the DCO/ICO/PCO process, inclusive of SAP management
  • Participate in the Agile development process, utilizing Jira
  • Responsible for the content loading and maintenance of product information into the dealer portal C-port
  • Work closely with the Regional Sales Managers to address specific product requests and issues
  • Provide support with new product training through the New Dealer School and other regional dealer events
  • Direct interaction with the New Product Task Force, Dealer Advisory Council and Service Advisory
  • Council to address product related issues

Entry-Level ProductAnalyst Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree required, business major preferred
  • 2+ years of experience in a Product Analyst or similar role
  • Water treatment/water chemistry knowledge and experience a plus
  • Excellent data analysis skills
  • Good presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Project); high level of skill on Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Jira
