Title: Data Annotator
Location: Burlingame CA, or Remote
Job Type: Part-time contract, 6 months
Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Data Annotator to join our team. The Data Annotator will be responsible for labeling and annotating datasets to ensure the accuracy and quality of our machine learning models and data-driven projects. This role is crucial for the development of high-quality AI and machine learning applications.
Key Responsibilities: Accurately label and annotate datasets according to project guidelines and specifications.
Review and validate annotations performed by other team members to ensure consistency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross functional partners like Data Scientists and Machine Learning Engineers to understand project requirements and provide feedback on annotation guidelines.
Identify and report any issues or inconsistencies in the data
Maintain detailed records of annotation work and contribute to documentation as needed.
Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new annotation tools and techniques.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or 4+ years of related work experience
Experience in data annotation, data entry, or a similar role.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex guidelines and instructions.
Familiarity with data annotation tools and software.
Basic understanding of machine learning and AI concepts is a plus.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
