Are you looking for a remarkable career opportunity? We are currently seeking a Seasonal Full Time Ski Instructor to join us at Christmas Mountain Village in Wisconsin Dells, WI. Nature lovers will appreciate the quiet majesty of the Wisconsin Dells and the area's many outdoor activities and skiers can take advantage of 16 downhill runs and a wide variety of trails. Swoosh down slopes suitable for beginners as well as Black Diamond slopes perfect for those seeking the ultimate winter thrill. Situated just west of the Dells, Christmas Mountain Village is a year-round playground that offers downhill ski runs and 27 holes of golf. As you approach the resort, you pass endless rows of picturesque pine trees, beautiful farmland, rolling hills, woods and golf course greens.

In this role, you will teach guests and owners how to safely use and maneuver their ski or snowboard equipment, teaching the lifelong benefits of skiing and snowboarding.

Schedule: Full Availability, including weekends and public holidays

What will I be doing?

• Provide appropriate instruction in safety, equipment, and techniques for skiing and/or snowboarding to guests of all ages and skills.
• Serves as an on-hill ambassador for both the resort and the ski area.
• Exhibits positive guest relations.
• Monitors and communicates hill and operating equipment conditions to management.
• Other duties as assigned by management

What Are We Looking For:

To fulfill this role efficiently, you must possess the following minimum qualifications and experience:

• Prior experience with ski operations
• Proficiency in skiing and/or snowboarding, preferably 2-3 years.
• Ability to communicate in English with guests.
• Comfort in instructing customers of varying abilities.
• Can climb stairs and work on ladders up to 40 feet, push/pull up to 50lbs, lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and grasp, stoop, reach overhead with our without reasonable accommodations.
• Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time
• Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
